So where does llms.txt fit in a GEO program?

As a low-cost, low-priority “why not” — added after the real work is done. Spend your first ten units of effort on authority, content quality, and crawlability. Add llms.txt as unit eleven, in case adoption grows. Anyone selling it as the centerpiece of a GEO strategy has the priority order backwards.
