Claude Connectors — One-Click Tool Integrations

Claude Connectors

TL;DR: Claude Connectors are ready-to-use integrations that connect Claude to external apps — no coding required. The directory now has 200+ integrations spanning creative tools (Blender, Adobe, Ableton), consumer apps (Uber, Spotify, Instacart), and enterprise systems (HubSpot, Salesforce). All connectors are available on every plan, including Free.

What Are Connectors?

Connectors are pre-built integrations that let Claude interact with external applications. Unlike raw MCP servers that require technical setup, connectors work out of the box:

Think of it this way: MCP is the protocol (the “USB-C standard”). Connectors are the cables you buy at the store — ready to plug in.

How They Work

Connectors enable Claude to:

  1. Read data from connected apps (your Spotify playlists, your Blender scene)
  2. Execute actions on your behalf (book an Uber, export a Photoshop layer)
  3. Orchestrate multi-app workflows (search samples in Splice → pull into Ableton)

Critical safeguard: Before completing any booking or purchase, Claude checks with you first. You stay in control.

Privacy protection: Your data from connected apps isn’t used to train models. Apps don’t see your other Claude conversations. Claude is ad-free — no paid placements or sponsored answers.

Creative Connectors (April 28, 2026)

Nine new connectors for professional creative software — available on all plans including Free.

Blender

What it does: Natural-language interface to Blender’s Python API.

Capabilities:

  • Analyze and debug entire Blender scenes
  • Batch-apply changes to objects in a scene
  • Write Python scripts that add tools to Blender’s interface
  • Explain complex modifier and Geometry Nodes setups
  • Clean unused scene data

Technical requirements: Claude Desktop (any plan) + Blender 4.2+. Requires manual reconnection each session via BlenderMCP sidebar panel.

Key distinction: Claude functions as a co-developer, not just automation. Exposes dangerous capabilities — save your work before each interaction.

Adobe for Creativity

What it does: Access to 50+ Creative Cloud applications from Claude.

Capabilities:

  • Generate layer adjustments and apply filters in Photoshop
  • Retrieve design assets from Creative Cloud libraries
  • Resize and reformat videos for different social platforms
  • Orchestrate multi-step workflows across Photoshop, Premiere, Express, and Firefly

Access tiers:

  • Guest mode: ~40 standard tools without Adobe account
  • Signed-in: Higher limits, more tools, storage access, session continuity

vs. Adobe Firefly: Firefly is Adobe’s generative AI model for creating images. Claude handles workflow orchestration and production logistics across tools.

Ableton

What it does: Documentation assistant for Live and Push.

Capabilities:

  • Answer questions using official Ableton documentation
  • Explain synthesis techniques and production workflows
  • Provide guidance on sidechain compression, vocal sampling, etc.

Critical limitation: This is a documentation assistant, NOT a generative music tool. Cannot compose music, generate MIDI, or interact with Live projects directly.

Autodesk Fusion

What it does: Create and modify 3D models through conversation.

Capabilities:

  • Designers and engineers can describe what they want
  • Claude translates into Fusion operations
  • Requires active Fusion subscription

Affinity by Canva

What it does: Automates repetitive production tasks.

Capabilities:

  • Batch image adjustments
  • Layer renaming across multiple files
  • Automated file exports
  • Convert complex manual tasks into natural language commands

Splice

What it does: Search royalty-free sample catalogs from within Claude.

Capabilities:

  • Music producers can describe the sound they need
  • Claude searches Splice’s library
  • Pull samples directly into production workflow

SketchUp

What it does: Turns conversations into 3D modeling starting points.

Capabilities:

  • Describe concepts in natural language
  • Claude generates initial 3D starting points
  • Refine in SketchUp with traditional tools

Resolume Arena & Wire

What it does: Real-time control for live visual performance.

Capabilities:

  • VJs and live visual artists can control these tools through natural language
  • Real-time adjustments during live performance
  • Video mapping and AV production

Consumer Connectors (April 23, 2026)

Fifteen everyday apps for travel, dining, shopping, and services:

CategoryApps
TravelUber, TripAdvisor, Booking.com, Viator
Food & DiningUber Eats, Instacart, Resy
EntertainmentSpotify, Audible, StubHub
ServicesTaskRabbit, Thumbtack, AllTrails
FinancialIntuit TurboTax, Intuit Credit Karma

How Consumer Connectors Work

Claude suggests relevant apps based on conversation context — you don’t need to decide upfront which integration to use.

Example workflow: Planning a weekend trip

  1. You describe what you want to do
  2. Claude suggests TripAdvisor for activities
  3. Recommends Booking.com for accommodation
  4. Offers Uber for transportation
  5. Proposes Resy for dinner reservations

All in a single conversation, with Claude orchestrating across apps.

Enterprise Connectors

Pre-built integrations for business systems:

CategoryApps
CRMHubSpot, Salesforce
ProductivitySlack, Google Calendar, Notion
AccountingXero
SupportIntercom
MeetingsZoom

See tools/mcp for details on enterprise MCP integrations.

Four Use Cases for Creative Connectors

1. Learning & Mastery

On-demand tutoring within professional tools. Ask Claude to explain a Blender modifier setup or an Ableton synthesis technique.

2. Code Extension

Writing custom scripts:

  • Blender Python scripts for new tools
  • Photoshop actions for batch processing
  • Procedural animations and parametric models

3. Pipeline Bridging

Work across tools without switching contexts:

  • Search samples in Splice
  • Pull into Ableton
  • Manage the project through Claude

4. Batch Production Work

Repetitive asset processing at scale:

  • Batch image adjustments in Affinity
  • Bulk exports with consistent settings
  • Project scaffolding across multiple files
